Classic beef stroganoff is an old recipe from French chef Count Stroganov. In restaurants, it is prepared from tenderloin, but we had good minced meat – less tasty with it and much faster! In turn, the original sour cream sauce remained almost unchanged – already quite affordable
Minced meat – 500 g
Petrol – 250 g
Sour cream – 250 ml
Butter – 2 tbsp. spoons
clove of garlic – 1 pc.
Pepper and salt to taste
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp. spoon
chopped parsley – to taste
1️⃣ Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the oil. After the butter has melted, add the minced garlic. Cook, stirring frequently, until the garlic is fragrant, then add the ground beef. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Continue cooking the ground beef and break it up with a wooden spoon. Transfer the cooked beef to a bowl and set aside.
2️⃣ Drain most of the oil from the pan, leaving just enough to cook the mushrooms. Put the sliced mushrooms in the pan and add a few tablespoons of water. Cook until the mushrooms are soft. Set the mushrooms aside.
3️⃣ Reduce the heat to a minimum, pour the sour cream into the pan. Add cooked beef, mushrooms and mix. Add lemon juice and parsley. Boil for 5-10 minutes.
