Low carb orange cauliflower


  • For 3/4 cauliflower head
  • Half cup of cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp of garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp of onion powder
  • 1 tbsp of paprika
  • 1 tbsp of old Bay
  • Grapeseed oil for frying
Orange sauce:
  • 2 tbsp of orange juice
  • 2 tbsp of rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce or liquid aminos
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • 1 tsp of ginger minced
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1-2 tbsp of orange zest
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tbsp of cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp of water


Chop into bite-size pieces the three-quarter head of cauliflower and boil until tender then strain the water and let it cool for 10 minutes in a large Ziploc bag add the cornstarch garlic powder onion powder paprika and old Bay after 10 minutes add cauliflower to the cornstarch and mix together.
In a skillet or grapeseed oil or whatever oil you like to fry with I use grapeseed oil because it’s good for frying in high heat.
Once your oil is hot take some cauliflower and put it in the oil fry until golden brown. When you’re finished move on to make your orange sauce over medium heat add all of the ingredients together and then add the cornstarch with the water once it’s boiling and it gets thicker then pour over your cauliflower with green onion and top with sesame seeds and enjoy
