I cooked it using my Instant pot. I washed 1 cup of rice . Use ratio 1 C of rice to 3 cup of water becsuse i like my soup a bit soupy, i actually added a bit more hot water after it’s done cooking to get that soupy consistency that I like, totally optional. I added ground pork, chopped onions, 1 bruised ginger knob, about 2 tsp of fish sauce and couple rock sugar. Set my instant pot for 15 mins then natural release. Top with green onions, thinly sliced ginger and a dash of sesame oil. Sometimes i add other veggies like carrots, peas or corn.
