Quick and easy Miso Sesame Noodles

3 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
1 tablespoon red miso paste
1 teaspoon sriracha
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2-3 tablespoons vegetable broth, instead of water
1 teaspoon neutral oil or water
1 package (8 ounces) white mushrooms, chopped
1 cup chickpeas, drained and rinsed
8 ounces angel hair noodles, cooked according to the back of the package. I used gluten-free millet angel hair pasta.
1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil, optional
Black or white sesame seeds
crushed red pepper
green onion, chopped
