Rice and black beans

Rice and black beans recipe:
-Rice. Use white rice or Jazmine. I use 2 cups of rice.
Cook by adding 3 cups of water and add a clove or two of garlic. Bring to a boil. Once rolling boil, turn to low and cover. Cool for 23 to 24 minutes. Nice done, use a fork to fluff the rice and then cover again. I always remember 2/3/23.
Black Beans
I use organic black bean or S&W brand low sodium. 2 cans of you like beans. ????
1/4 red and green pepper. Chop to small pieces.
1/2 red onion. Chop to small pieces.
1 cup of chopped Portobello mushrooms. You can add more or less. Depending on taste.
2-3 clove of garlic
Cilantro. To taste.
2-2-1/2 cups of water
