A hearty, juicy and warm casserole is perfect for cold September evenings! So, I suggest you give it a shot. I recommend getting the grain fed beef tenderloin. Yes, it’s not too fat, but it’s much more useful.

To prepare 4 servings you will need:
Butter – 110 gr
Forest mushrooms – 300 gr⠀
White onion – 1 pc.⠀
Green sweet pepper – 2 pcs.
Finely chopped beef tenderloin – 450 gr
Head of garlic – 1 pc.⠀
Italian herbs – 1 teaspoon
Provolone cheese – 200 gr
Pepper and salt to taste
Unsweetened Marinara sauce (tomato) – 4 tbsp. spoons
olive oil – 4 tbsp. spoons

1️⃣ Chop the mushrooms, onions and peppers. Lightly fry in butter for 2-3 minutes and transfer to a bowl⠀
2️⃣ Fry the beef in the same pan for five minutes, add the garlic, salt and pepper. Return the vegetables and fry for another 3-5 minutes, sprinkle with Italian herbs⠀
3️⃣ Transfer everything to a baking sheet, sprinkle with grated cheese and send to the oven preheated to 225 C for 15 minutes or until the casserole is golden brown⠀
4️⃣Remove from the oven, apply tomato sauce on top and drizzle lightly with olive oil⠀
