Instructions 1. Prepare the Potatoes Wash, peel, and thinly slice the potatoes (2–3 mm). If using onions, slice them thin as well. 2. Make the Creamy Sauce Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Whisk in flour and cook for 30 seconds. Slowly pour in the cream or milk, stirring constantly. Add salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir until the sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat and mix in 1 cup of cheddar cheese. 3. Layer in the Slow Cooker Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker. Add a layer of sliced potatoes. Pour a bit of the sauce over them. Add onions (optional). Sprinkle some mozzarella and cheddar. Repeat layers until everything is used. Finish with cheese on top. 4. Cook Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours, or Cook on HIGH for 3–4 hoursuntil the potatoes are soft and the top is bubbly. 5. Serve Garnish with chopped parsley.
